Swing ball

The most famous and entertaining sport we all knows "cricket"{specially in India}.
A thing we generally realise that in the game is swinging of Ball. What is the fact behind it we"ll explore today-let's start-
When the tennis or cricket ball is thrown  horizontally in a simple way,it follow a parabolic path in air also known as projectile motion.
But when the same ball is thrown spinning, it moves along a much more sharply curved path then parabolic .This is called the swinging of ball.
When ball moves forward the air ahead the ball rushes with velocity (v) to fill up the space behind the ball which has been left evacuated by the ball. When the ball spin the layer of the air around it also moves with the ball with velocity (u).
Thus the resultant velocity of air above become (v-u) and the resultant velocity below the ball becomes (v+u).

This means the velocity of the air above gets reduced-means the pressure get increase. And in other hand the net velocity get increased since the respective pressure get decrease.Due to this pressure difference the a force exert on the ball gives the resultant sharp curve of the ball's path.
