corona detection through RTPCR

📌At this time period we all humans all highly affected through COVID19 virus pandemic. If you want to know about that you can read this article first which I have earlier posted.Just Click here to read this first.؟؟

First we know what is a virus from the scientific point of view.A virus is a microscopic package of genetic material surrounded by a molecular envelope. This genetic material can be either deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) or ribonucleic acid (RNA).”
was discovered by Levonsky.
"Tobacco Mosaci" was the first virus discovered from tobacco tree.
Virus can survive only inside the living organism, animals or plants.
Virus is a connecting link between living and non living.

💬
To detect that corona virus in human’s body we have a method known as RTPCR.
RTPCR stands for Reverse Transcription polymerize chain reaction.

😍There is a lot of curiosity among people about the testing of Corona virus,But how it happens?

📍Let us know about the most accepted test RTPCR.

  • In the first phase of the RTPCR, a sample of the swab is taken from the nose or throat of the suspect. This sample is inserted into a special chemical in which the cells separate from the virus, after which the virus RNA is extracted. The extracted RNA is converted into DNA.This process is known as reverse transcription.By which new DNA is considered as complementary DNA or c DNA.
  • In the next step, multiple copies of c DNA are made. These copies of DNA are made using PCR technique.

  • Now the DNA is matched to the DNA of Cov2.If matched, the corona is confirmed in the person.
Let I tell you that this is the best technique to detect corona-virus which is recognized by the WHO { World Health Organization }.
If we look at the RTPCR report of a corona-positive patient, it has mentions the CT value means threshold cycle or CQ value Quantification cycle both are same.

🔖CT/CQ value shows the number of cycle needed to amplify the viral RNA to a detectable label.

That is, in which cycle, the sample of the patient who has been loaded in the PCR detects the same which is called CT Value. For example if the sample of a patient is in the PCR and it detects 35 cycles then its CT value will be 35 and If the RNA of a patient detects 12 cycle, then his CT value will be 12, it depends on how much the viral load of the patient is.

If the viral load of a patient is very high, it means that the CT value will be very low there.
As the expansion starts, if the virus is more then it will detect it at in first, second, third,or max 10th cycle.
૧.low CT- High viral load
૨.high CT- low ciral load
૩.According to ICMR Cretria
૪.above 35CT = Negative
૫.less than 35CT = Positive
૬.25-35 = Low Risk
૭.12-20 = High Risk
૮.Less than 10 = Need ICU or Oxygen
So you can measure all these conditions by the CT value.
That's why CT value is most significant in the case of covid-19 RTPCR test. That's all about RTPCR.
