Sure Breaks

 As you all know that about the "breaks" present in the vehicles.They usually de-accelerate the speed of the vehicle;and used to stop the vehicle.But do you know that what is the working behind it & what is the principle based on it today we"ll learn about it.
Let's Began
The working of the breaks is based of the applications of Pascal's principle.According to which-
When the pressure applied on any liquid present on a container then it is equally distributed in all the directions of the  liquid.
Pascal's law

Malcolm Lockheed invented hydraulic brakes, which he would go on to patent in 1917.

And his car company, Deusenberg, was the first to use the technology on a passenger car, in 1921.
Hydraulic braking system is a type of braking system in which unlike mechanical braking system, hydraulic fluid is used to transmit the brake pedal

 or brake lever force from the brake pedal or brake lever to the final drum shoes or disc caliper in order to achieve braking. In this type of braking system the mechanical force transmitted by the driver on the brake pedal is converted into the hydraulic pressure by a device known as master cylinder and then this hydraulic pressure is sent to the final drum or disc caliper in order to stop or de-accelerate the vehicle.

Working

ABS::
ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) is an electronic safety system that controls the disc/drum brake of a vehicle so that the wheels do not lock and skid even if full brake is applied. It consists of an ECU (Electronic Control Unit), a wheel-speed sensor and hydraulic brake actuators.

ABS brake they called the ‘Sure Brake’.
